A fundraiser like no other! EATS is...
Drinking & Eating: Signature dishes and drinks by some of Philly’s finest past restaurants include Amada, Black Sheep Pub and Restaurant, Buddakan, Continental, Distrito, Fork, Friday Saturday Sunday, The Global Dish Caterers, London Grill, Monk’s Café, Pod, Twenty Manning, and Silk City. Dancing: A DJ playing a wide variety of music. Fun(draising): Spectacular live and silent auctions with valuable, one-of-a-kind items. We need your help! We are looking for great items to auction off at the event, as well as advertisements for the program book. Think about what you, your family, your relatives, your company, your clients, or your business associates can donate to the EATS auction. Download an Auction Donation form. We are especially excited to receive the following items: 1. Stays...at vacation homes, resorts, or hotels 2. Travel opportunities...airline tickets, cruises, ski trips 3. Tickets...for sports events, plays, concerts, or the orchestra 4. One-of-a-kind services...wine-tasting, catering, personal training, cooking or baking classes 5. Gift certificates...to your favorite restaurants or salons (in Philly, NYC, or anywhere exciting) 6. Celebrity-inspired items....autographed sports jerseys, autographed movie scripts, or tv show tapings
What’s new this year: Which Wine is Yours? Over 100 bottles of wine from around the world will be auctioned off to the highest bidder (or you can “buy it now” for a fair price). Please donate one or two of your favorite bottles of wine to help us accumulate 100 bottles of wine. Parties & Get-Togethers. New to EATS this year will be some special parties hosted by TPS families. Parties can be for adults or children, or if you are really brave, both! Choose a theme for your party (adult ideas: Margaritaville, Poker Night, Wine Tasting; kid ideas: Pizza Making, Arts & Crafts) and a date for your event. Decide upon the maximum number of participants and an appropriate per person fee. At EATS there will be a sign-up for your party--no bidding, just like an RSVP (except for the donation to TPS for your party.) As the donator of the party, you will host a fun party for some interesting people, and all of the money goes to TPS. This is a great way to build community while supporting our school. Download the Ad Book form. Don't miss the party! The Philadelphia School’s annual fundraiser, EATS, will be held in the gymnasium on Friday evening, April 30, 2010. Last year, EATS raised $60,000 for TPS, and with your help we hope to make this year’s event even more successful. We are trying to make this the most successful event ever!
