Report of Gifts 2010-2011
Thank you!
The 2010-2011 Report of Gifts shows what a community can do when it works together to support an educational program. Our roster of contributors includes hundreds – parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni parents and grandparents, faculty and staff, friends, and local businesses. Our Report of Gifts gives us the opportunity to express our gratitude and pride to all who were a part of our fund-raising efforts for 2010-2011.
Donor lists are password protected.
This report recognizes gifts that were received during the fiscal year July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011. Every effort has been made by the Advancement Office to ensure accuracy of the information listed. We apologize for any inadvertent omissions or errors and ask you to notify us by emailing Catherine Mulgrew, Director of Development, at cmulgrew@tpschool.org. From the Head of School
Every year, The Philadelphia School community gathers in the gym for a bountiful Thanksgiving Feast. There is no turkey at our traditional feast – instead, the TPS menu includes vegetarian lasagna, salad, corn bread, “baby butters”(lovingly shaken by our kindergarten students from heavy cream to butter), and chocolate brownies! Please continue.

TPS Faculty & Staff
This report recognizes the dedication of The Philadelphia School's administrators and administrative staff and – especially – the extraordinary work of the faculty throughout the 2010-2011 academic year. Please continue.

From the Board President
The 2010-2011 Report of Gifts leaves us particularly proud of and grateful for the generosity of The Philadelphia School community’s resources – time, talent, and treasure. That generosity enabled us to accomplish so much last year – a year in which we were in the early phases of our Every Inch a Classroom capital campaign. Please continue.

Board of Trustees
We wish to acknowledge the generous gifts of time, talent, and treasure of our Board of Trustees. Academic year 2010-2011 was an incredibly busy year for the board as the first shovels went into the ground to begin construction projects at our current building and at 2501 South Street and as the Every Inch a Classroom capital campaign approached its public phase. Please continue.

The Philadelphia School Association
All parents and guardians are members of The Philadelphia School Association (TPSA). Its mission is to support TPS families by facilitating communication, providing enrichment and outreach opportunities, and sponsoring community-building events. The school is grateful for the work of the individuals listed below, as well as the scores of parent volunteers who worked with them. Please continue.

Funding Sources
The Philadelphia School is grateful to its community for its generous philanthropic support. Charitable giving provided 6% of the school's overall operating budget, and TPS enjoyed a broad range of support from parents, board members, alumni, grandparents, alumni parents, faculty and staff, and friends. Please continue.
