Governance

The Philadelphia School has a Board of Trustees whose role is to set important policies for the school and oversee its operations. The Board meets seven times annually to discuss developments at the school and vote on policy decisions. Members are nominated by the Governance Committee and elected by the full board. New members are selected for the particular talents, perspectives, and experience that they can bring to the school, as well as for their previous involvement in the school's activities The Board of Trustees adheres to the Principles of Good Practice set forth by the National Association of Independent Schools.
