Graduates of The Philadelphia School are confident, self-assured, and well prepared to excel. They have gone on to attend many of the highly regarded public and private schools in the area.
High School admission directors consider our students as assets to their high school programs. Our graduates are valued as flexible thinkers, skillful writers, independent learners, talented athletes and artists, and collaborative team members.
Eighth graders have different interests and learning styles, and we help students find the high school that is best for their distinctive needs.
high school counseling program
Seasoned middle school educators serve as high school placement counselors and work closely with families in their children's eighth grade year to determine best school fit for each graduating student. They have strong relationships with the admission departments at the schools to which our students apply and help all of our graduating families navigate the admission process.
Each fall we host a High School Fair, where seventh and eighth graders and their parents have the opportunity to meet representatives from a variety of secondary schools. Throughout the year, our high school placement counselors, our Middle School Director, and advisors guide students and parents through the application process.
