At The Schuylkill Center today, the 7th grade installed their signs for "A Walk Through Time." Visitors to SCEE now can learn the story of the universe as they hike, starting with the Big Bang, witnessing the appearance and disappearance of the dinosaurs, and ending with today's global economy and biosphere issues.
The interpretive signs are installed along the Widener Trail up to Founder's Grove. For this project, students worked in pairs to research a significant event in the past 13.7 billion years and then created a scaled timeline along the trail to determine where their sign should be placed. The signs will be up through the end of November; we encourage families to go check out the students' work!
