Progressive Talk: The first Progressive Talk of the year will be on Tuesday morning, October 14, 8:30-9:30am, in the Garage. The topic will be "Learning Resources in a Progressive Setting," and our presenters will be Aminah Finney, Coordinator of Learning Resources, and Abbie Segal-Andrews, School Psychologist. RSVP here.
School Photos: Picture Days are Thursday and Friday, October 16 and 17. The backdrop will be medium blue/purple so students should not wear dark blue; light blue should be fine. Children should bring their own combs - there will be mirrors available for "quick fixes."
Here's the schedule:
Fall Festival @ Schuylkill RIver Park: Come on out to the park on Saturday, October 18, 11am-3pm to have fun and show appreciation of this neighborhood gem that is so important to us at TPS. Our school will have a crafts table - stop by to say hello.
October 31: The Student Council is planning two events for the morning of October 31. Students may choose between fun Halloween celebrations or fun cosmos-related activities. More info will be available next week, but the Student Council wanted everyone to know that there will be terrific activities for all students on October 31.
Parent Conferences: Advisors and classroom teachers included links to a conference sign-up form in recent Weekly Notes. The specialists would love to speak to you as well – sign up opportunities are below.
