Life in Space

Our day began with a very lively assembly in which a Franklin Institute educator presented the traveling show entitled Eye to the Sky to our kindergarteners through 8th graders. The show explored what life is like in space for astronauts. Ask your child about the soda bottle rocket launch, the balloon in the vacuum, crumbs in space, and the 8th grade Student Council co-president who dressed up in a spacesuit.

More astronomical presentations and events will take place throughout the winter as we dig into our all-school Cosmos theme.
