TPS classrooms took part in the "Hour of Code" initiative, kicked off this week by President Obama.
Primary D students spent time working on the logic game Lightbot Jr. They were challenged to program a robot with commands to solve puzzles. The children learned that programming or coding is simply the way people tell a computer what to do using instructions that the computer understands. They caught on very quickly and enjoyed working their way through puzzles that increased in complexity.
Who else has been coding? Third grade.
And, of course, the student "SWAT Tech Team."
