Shaking the Family Tree: A Conversation with Dr. Michele Marsh on Tuesday, February 25th from 6:30-8:30 pm at TPS

On Tuesday, February 25, from 6:30 to 8:30 pm, we invite you to join us for an educational workshop for parents called SHAKING THE FAMILY TREE led by Dr. Michele Marsh.  This workshop is designed for parents to gain a better understanding of how their family legacies impact their parenting styles.  Parents will learn how to "map" their family trees and will be encouraged to consider the culture of their own family legacies.

Dr. Marsh is a Licensed Psychologist and AASECT-Certified Sex Therapist. She concentrates on helping individuals, couples, and families to enjoy and enhance their relationships.  Dr. Marsh has been working with children, couples and families for 15 years at The Counsel for Relationships.  She has given many presentations on the applications of psychology and family dynamics to the challenges of parenting.  Dr. Marsh is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and practiced family therapy at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic.  She specializes in issues of communication, intimacy, and sexuality, and teaches in these areas in the Couple and Family Therapy Masters Program at Thomas Jefferson University.  For more information about her, please visit: visit: http://councilforrelationships.org/staff/bio_marsh_michele.shtml
