Poetry Out Loud Champ

TPS alumna ZB Cummin ’10 came in second in Vermont’s state-wide Poetry Out Loud competition on March 20. The Poetry Out Loud program, created by the National Endowment for the Arts and the Poetry Foundation, builds on the rising interest in poetry as an oral art form. Judith Parker, who taught language arts to ZB at TPS, watched the competition live on Vermont Public Television and wrote that “ZB made it through round after round. I was on the edge of my seat for the last two hours. Wow!”
