Kindergarteners are studying food-related businesses. The children are researching where the businesses get the food they prepare (and connecting that to our science study of plants - from seed to table). They are also discovering the cooperative responsibility it takes to run a business well. This week one class did some hands-on research as we visited a number of food trucks; they interviewed the people running them, sketched, and observed. The other kindergarten class is doing a similar study of restaurants; the children spent time this week visiting Honey's Sit 'n Eat.
