On April 23, a day before the 8th grade heads to Washington, DC, to, among other things, visit the Newseum, students will meet with investigative journalist and author James Steele, who will provide context for them as they prepare to tour the museum's exhibits. With collaborator Donald Barlett, Jim has won two Pulitzer Prizes, two National Magazine Awards, and five George Polk Awards during 35 years of reporting at the Philadelphia Inquirer, Time, and Vanity Fair.  Jim's daughter, Allison, graduated from The Philadelphia School in 1994.
