All-School Weekly Note

School Closed: School is closed tomorrow for professional development and on Monday for Martin Luther King, Jr.'s Birthday.

Classroom Notes: Some classrooms will be posting notes today; others, tomorrow.

Service Activities for MLK, Jr. Day: We are excited that so many families are participating in TPSA's service activities on Monday. We still need folks to bring sandwich supplies and make sandwiches on Monday in the Garage from 10 to 11:30am. It would be great if you filled out the response form, but - if you can't - it is okay to just show up.  We need at least 8 more families to meet our commitment of 500 sandwiches! Desserts for the shelters should be dropped off on Monday at 10am in the Garage. Emergency breakfast packets should be dropped off in the South Street office on Tuesday morning.

School Nurse Update: As previously communicated, Olutosin Efunnuga's last day as school nurse is tomorrow.  We are in a search for a replacement and are transitioning all of the necessary information on your children to ensure that there are no gaps in care.  Until we have made a new hire, we will have a Registered Nurse from Bayada Pediatrics from 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday through Friday.  Bayada Pediatrics Care specializes in caring for children in a school setting.  Please contact Carol Lerner with any questions.

Green & Healthy Tip: Did you know - Plastic bags don't go in the recycling bins! They are recyclable, but please don't put them in the blue recycling bins. Instead, please recycle your plastic bags at local retailers such as grocery stores and pharmacies.
