All-School Weekly Note

School Closed: Monday and Tuesday, February 16 and 17. Happy Presidents Weekend.

Health Records and Vaccination: As mentioned in a recent email to families, TPS follows the PA Code for schools regarding health records and immunizations. Please be reassured that we are following the nationwide measles outbreak closely and are in contact with experts at CHOP to be prepared should it spread to our area.  In the case of an outbreak in the City of Philadelphia, we will follow the guidance of the PA Department of Health.

Re-enrollment: A reminder that enrollment agreements are due Monday, February 16. (If you are planning to hand-deliver your agreement, it is okay to bring it in on Wednesday morning after Presidents Weekend.)

Inaugural TPS Wrestling Match: Under the auspices of Beat the Streets Philadelphia, TPS is hosting a match between the TPS wrestling club and the Wissahickon Charter School on Friday, February 20, in the TPS gym at 4:15pm. Come on out and cheer for our young athletes.

Heelys (aka shoes with wheels): For safety reasons, children who wear Heelys to school may not wear them with the wheels exposed anytime during the school day.

Annual Physical Exams: It's hard to believe but it's that time to start thinking about scheduling your child's annual physical exam so all required forms are here at TPS before the first day of school next fall. Children may not enter school unless all forms are in. Please make your appointments today.

February Birthday Breakfast: Save the date - February 27, 8am, Multipurpose Room.
