"Anything Goes" Beard Victorious!

The TPS Student Council wants to thank everybody who supported out "Design a Beard" fund-raising initiative. We raised just under $300.

Yesterday the faculty and staff members who stopped shaving and generously offered to have their beards shaved according to the design of "your choice" went off to the Barber on 24th for the winning "Anything Goes" beard styles. Today they "revealed" their new looks at Encuentro. (Missing from the photo is Brian Harrity, who ended up with a combined mutton chop and horse shoe style.)

Thank you to the TPS faculty and staff members who grew beards to support our winter fund raiser to bring 3D printing opportunities to TPS.

Special thanks to Mike at the Barber on 24th, located on the corner of 24th and Lombard, who generously donated his services to design and shave the "anything goes" beards!  He did a great job!

BREAKING NEWS!!!!! Today we learned that TPS preschool parents, Leo Korein and Ann Ritter, who have been following our Design a Beard fun raiser, are donating a 3D printer to TPS. Thank you! Thank you!  Leo wrote,  "I am always truly impressed with creative fundraising and creative facial hair! Two great things that go great together. I'm glad I can contribute something that the kids and teachers pushed together for and will get to all enjoy together." In addition to being such a generous TPS parent, Leo is a generous member of the TPS class of 1993!

The money raised by the Student Council will be used for the upkeep of the printer.
