Sara's hours will be from 8:30am to 4:30pm. Sara may already be familiar to some of you as the spouse of Terry Maguire.

Beards: Have you noticed all the beards being sported around TPS? The faculty and staff member are forgoing shaving to help the Student Council raise funds toward the purchase of a 3D printer for the school. A $1 donation to the "beard of your choice" will help us determine which facial hair style the Barber on 24th will creates on our hirsute volunteers! The canisters to make your donation are in the Lombard Street front office.

Grandparents and Great Friends Day Invitations: Parents with children in kindergarten, 3rd grade, and 6th grade were sent an email asking for the names and contact information for the individuals you would like TPSA to invite to Grandparents and Great Friends Day on Monday, May 11. Please take some time this weekend to click here to submit the information. Invitations go out this month.

Fed Up: Interested in nutrition and wellness? Want to support a new neighborhood partnership?
Join us for a screening of the widely acclaimed documentary Fed Up, produced by Katie Couric and Laurie David. The screening, co-sponsored by TPS and the New Central Baptist Church, will take place at the church on 21st and Lombard Street, on Sunday, March 22, from 2 to 4pm. RSVP here.

Desperately Seeking: For one of the exciting Cosmos-related mini-courses, we are desperately seeking empty 2-liter soda bottles. You can leave the bottles in the Lombard Street front office or drop them off in the 7th grade area.

Why I Give:  Help us reach 100% parent participation by Friday, March 27.  We've raised $231,000 - and we are at 34% parent participation (100% board, 99% faculty and staff). Imagine how high that number will go when we reach 100% among all three constituencies! Thanks for your support.
