Welcome back from Spring Break!

Dismissal Updates: Now that the spring term of after school activities is beginning, please make sure that you have sent in any updates to your child(ren)'s dismissal plans. Email with any changes.  

From the School Nurse: Health screenings for growth, vision, hearing and scoliosis are beginning for children in grades K-8.  If the results indicate any potential need for follow-up, an email will be sent to families.

School Closed: Friday, April 17, is a Professional Development Day. There will be a Special ASEP Program.

RESCHEDULED: The Student Council's Earth Day Celebration is now scheduled for Friday, April 24, from 3:00 to 5pm. And we will be set up in the Lombard Street yard.  

THANK YOU: Thank you to everyone who made a gift to the Annual Fund during our Come & Give It campaign on conference days.  If you haven't made a gift yet, you can donate below!

Save the dates: The last few months of the school year are especially jam-packed that we won't be able to list them all here. Please check the school calendar - and the blog - regularly to make sure you don't miss anything!  

Crazy Hat, Hair, & Pajamas Day:  The Student Council is excited to announce that Crazy Hat, Hair, and Pajama Day is Monday, April 20, ALL DAY! Students are welcome to wear their pajamas to school – but NO slippers, please (for safety reasons). And they may wear silly hats and strange hairdos!  Classroom teachers will be sending home more information.  

April Birthday Breakfast: Students in grades 1-8 are invited to stop by the Multipurpose Room for a celebratory breakfast on Friday, April 24, from 8 to 8:30am.

The Tempest – The Video: Here is your chance to see the film version of the 8th grade's production of the bard's The Tempest.

Move-up Meetings: Each spring we hold move-up meetings for parents whose children are moving from one unit to another or from one "stand-alone" grade to another. Mark your calendars for 5-6pm on

  • Tuesday, April 28, Parent Meeting for students entering 1st and 3rd grades
  • Tuesday, May 5, Parent Meeting for students entering Kindergarten & 4th grade 
  • Thursday, May 7, Parent Meeting for students entering 6th, 7th, & 8th grades
