Until the end of the school year, 8th grade Spanish classes are featuring week-long rotations focusing on different topics and activities. The goal is two-fold: to energize the Spanish learning process and to add a new "twist" to the program for our soon-to-be graduates.
Tiziana's rotation of classes – "La Comida" – are related to the cuisine of Spanish-speaking countries (Latin America and Spain). We have been watching short videos to learn about the wide variety of food, and we are preparing some traditional dishes.
On Monday we cooked (and ate!) a tortilla española and arepas during Spanish class.
