This year's five-week TPS City Country Camp Program has "closed for the season." There were 20 different camps, each with a different focus: all-star sports, ceramics, chess, digital media, fishing, musical theater, and wrestling, to name a few.
The Fishing Camp had a record-breaking week of fishing along the Schuylkill River. This year we extended our range to include the new section of the River Banks Trail with amazing results. The total haul for the week was 200 fish, which shattered the previous record of 85. The most successful bait was worm, and the most popular catch was channel catfish. Campers also caught rock bass, white perch, and American eel. Photos by Beth Lundy.
