What a wonderful evening and a delight to see so many families come out to our first annual Hispanic Family Night last week! The Spanish teams from both buildings came together in an effort to build community for our families who have at least one parent of Hispanic background.
Highlights included introductions of students, parents, teachers, and staff; community-building games to "break the ice"; and the enjoyment of lots of delicious Spanish food and desserts. We are grateful to Abram from ASEP, who entertained the kids so parents could mingle, and to David from Facilities who set everything up for the event. A final thank you goes to all who attended, with special recognition to Director of Diversity Brian Johnson for making this event happen. We hope to see even more families next year!
