Snowflakes for CHOP

This past holiday season TPSA will once sponsored a gift drive for the Family Care Center at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. The Family Care Center provides medical and psychosocial care for almost 300 children born to HIV positive mothers. About half of these children are HIV-infected themselves.

Snowflakes, each represented a gift requested by a child, were hung on  coat racks in both of our lobbies. Dozens of TPS families and faculty members picked a snowflake and generously purchased the requested gift.

Thank you, TPS parent Dorothy Novick, for organizing this initiative.
