City Country Connection

On March 22, a small group gathered for the first – hopefully, of many! – City Country Connection, a networking event for TPS alumni and friends. A big thank you to TPS parent Hoopes Wampler for generously making the Sweeten Alumni House at the University of Pennsylvania available to the group, who enjoyed casual conversation and TPS reminiscences over lunch.

If you have any ideas about what the next City Country Connection might look like, whether it's a panel of speakers, a resume-building workshop, or another lunch-time event, please reach out to Genvieve Goldstein with any and all feedback.

One of our alumni attendees was Gina Colaizzo '01, a registered nurse at the University of Pennsylvania Student Health Services, is studying for her clinical master's degree in pediatric primary care at Penn. Gina is also a children's author! Her book How to Be a Winner for Dinner tells the story of a young boy who is determined to find a way to make vegetables taste better so he can eat enough of them to meet the doctor’s daily recommendation requirements.
