The Philadelphia School is hosting Edcamp Delaware Valley Independent Schools on Thursday, August 11. The day's events will start at 8:30 a.m. with breakfast, registration, and a virtual suggestion wall (using Padlet) for three rotations of crowd-sourced breakout sessions.
Topics of discussion/exploration will range from pedagogical innovations, growth mindset in the classroom, how to get the most out of iPads in the classroom, converting libraries into maker spaces... the list is endless and will be determined by attendeees.
The unconference-style event is free of charge for educators and administrators, and we are expecting between 80-100 attendees. Click here if you'd like more specific information about this event or click here if you'd like to understand the Edcamp idea in general.
