At Firekeepers Camp, children learn advanced wilderness skills.  Firekeepers begin with stealth skills and move into more engagement with nature: making bows and arrows from sapling, crafting and manipulating traditional tools like the one-string slingshot, and practicing fire making both with and without matches.

At Ricketts Glen, after two days of wilderness training that included the art of camouflage, our Firekeepers put all they learned into action.
