Alumni Thanksgiving Feast
As summer winds down, here at TPS we are beginning to look to the cooler months; leaves falling on Lombard Street, a panoply of autumn colors in the garden at the Early Childhood Education Center, children bundling up to experience the changing of the seasons outside. And as we think of the months ahead, we are fondly reminded of Thanksgiving Feasts past, one of our favorite traditions at TPS. Perhaps you remember making butter in Kindergarten or brownies in Junior Unit. Maybe you are reminded of taking on the big responsibility of preparing and serving the lasagna in Middle School. Whatever your memory, we know that the community created during this feast is something that we all looked forward to every year.
As we started planning our 50th Anniversary celebrations for the 2022-2023 school year, we couldn’t think of a better way to honor traditions than bringing back this gathering for TPS alumni!
When: Friday, November 25th 5:30pm-7:30pm
Where: The TPS Gymnasium
What: The Thanksgiving Feast will be a time to see old friends, colleagues, and former and current teachers. See how the school has changed and grown, yet remained the same TPS that you came to know and love as a student. We’ll have old yearbooks to look through, music from TPS musicians, and pictures from deep in our archives to share. Most importantly, we will serve all of your favorites from the original feasts: lasagna, brownies, a fresh garden salad.
