What a busy last week before break!
Students finished their Mythbusters reports (they look fabulous!). We had our Winter Concert on Wednesday morning, which was spectacular. We visited the 6th grade biome projects on Wednesday, too, which are always incredible. And students chose their character for their myth project. (They are not required to do anything over break on this, but if they’d like to read some myths or think about what kind of project they might like, they are welcome to do so.)
On Thursday, we went to see Baskerville at the Philadelphia Theater Company, along with all of Junior Unit and 7th and 8th grades. Students truly enjoyed the production, which was a comic mystery in which five actors played all the roles.
Finally, we started today with an all-school sing-along, and we ended the day with our read-aloud book.
Thank you to parents for our generous holiday gifts. In thinking about the end of this year and the coming year, we continue to appreciate your children and our partnership with you about their growth and education. Have a terrific break, and we’ll see you in the new year!
