Meghan Covington 
Development & Special Projects

Meghan began her career in events and marketing over a decade ago in Boston. She moved to Philadelphia in the summer of 2014 and is so grateful to have had an introduction to The Philadelphia School shortly after she arrived. Meghan loves lending her expertise of events to help the community here reach their goals and move forward in advancement in meaningful ways. She lives in Center City with her husband Chris, two young children Hadley and Pierce, and their bulldog Bella.

Genvieve Goldstein 
Development Associate

After graduating from Boston University with a B.S. in Film & Television, Genvieve returned to her hometown of Philadelphia. Genvieve loves Philadelphia's rich arts and culture, and can often be found attending the incredible performing arts this city has to offer. She additionally serves on the Philadelphia Art Museum's Craft Show Committee. Genvieve currently lives in Northern Liberties with her husband, sculptor Clete Shields. 

Frances Hoover 
Director of Institutional Advancement

Frances started her career in the corporate world with a BS in accounting from Florida A&M University and a MBA in marketing and finance from Columbia University.  She was happy to join the independent school world 7 years ago after working in packaged goods, financial services and entertainment.  She enjoys oil painting and photography.  She is married to Michael, an attorney, and they have three children — Will, Carly, and Jaslyn. 


Emily Silberstein 
Advancement Associate

Emily is a foodie and spirited CrossFit novice. She just graduated summa cum laude from The University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in History and lives in South Philly.
