Good Afternoon, Parents!
It was a pleasure to see so many of you at Back-to-School Night this past Wednesday. We hope you enjoyed touring the new space, meeting the new team members, and getting a feel for your child’s day-to-day life in the seventh grade. We apologize that the presentation went a little long, and if you have any questions on communication, advisory, or schedule that were not covered or answered (or if you were unable to attend Back-to-School Night), please do not hesitate to contact your child’s advisor by email. You can find our email addresses below.
Links to each advisor’s Doodle polls for Fall parent-teacher conferences were also sent yesterday via email. They are also included below. Be sure to sign up soon to get the most convenient time for you! If you are unable to schedule any of the available times during the conference days, Thursday and Friday November 3-4, please contact your child’s advisor to arrange an alternate time as soon as possible.
Fall Community Service assignments were published today -- thank you for your patience and understanding as we worked out the kinks of so many kids and the migration to digital forms. Be sure to ask your child this weekend what job they will start next week!
Looking forward, next Thursday will be Shelly Ridge Day, when we gather in Family Circles to participate in activities around the site of our pre–Schuylkill Center country classroom. The attire expectations are the same as for The Schuylkill Center -- long pants, rain gear if necessary, and sturdy, comfortable shoes. It will be a fun day in the "wilderness" before the long Columbus Day weekend.
Until then, have a great regular-length weekend!
