Dear Primary C Families,
We can hardly believe that it is time to say good bye for winter break. Thank you for joining us this week for our Winter Concert and Learning Celebration. We were in awe of the student’s focus, excitement, and creativity in their project work. As our Air and Weather Unit comes to a close, kids continue to make connections and ask questions as we head into colder times. It is wonderful. This morning, the Primary Unit enjoyed a weather related presentation by The Franklin Institute. We thought more about what weather is “made” out of and were treated to some exciting air and weather experiments.
We would like to send a hearty congratulations to Ellie, Itzy, Noa, and Isabel for their hard work and commitment to “The Weather Show.” Students in the primary unit were offered the chance to perform in a science play and rehearse during activity time. The show was terrific and classmates were so proud of our actors.
We will miss all of our kiddos over the long break and wish you and yours a healthy and happy New Year. Hoping you all get in lots of snuggles, time to read together, and maybe even a little IXL (see last week's note for log-in information)!
See you in 2017!
Jane and Jennifer
