Dear Primary C Families,
We enjoyed seeing many of you at our concert and learning celebration this afternoon! Thank you for joining us. The children were so proud to share all of their efforts and achievements with you!
As we prepare for our field trip next Wednesday to City Hall, please remember to pack a trash-free lunch for your child. We will be leaving before Smart Lunches are delivered, so please plan for an alternative. Also, we are encouraging children to wear Philadelphia-themed clothing (including TPS shirts) for this trip as a fun way to show hometown pride. This is certainly not mandatory, but we imagine that many students will enjoy the opportunity to wear something special. We always appreciate your help in making sure children are dressed appropriately for the weather and wearing comfortable, sturdy shoes for lots of walking!
Speaking of trips: We will resume our regular Wednesday trips to the Schuylkill Center after spring break! Make sure your child comes prepared each Wednesday with a trash-free lunch, a full water, and appropriate clothes and footwear. Please review the school recommendations for tick prevention. Even when the weather is warm, children should have long pants to protect their legs.
We imagine that you got to ask your child lots of great questions during the celebration today, so we aren’t including a list of questions this week. Please email us if you have any questions or thoughts you would like us to consider in preparation for conferences next week. We look forward to meeting with you then!
